    About

I have always enjoyed craft of one description or another.  When I was younger it was mostly cross stitch then, as a teen, I was taught how to crochet granny squares and later taught myself other crochet stitches and how to read patterns.  Over the years I have completed a few sewing projects, including a pair of dungarees with zip off legs, and dog coats.

In 2020 I bit the bullet and upgraded from my mother-in-law's hand-me-down to a brand new, computerised machine!  After getting the new machine I made numerous items of clothing for myself and my family. When I tried my hand at a memory bear, I found I really enjoyed it and decided I could make them to order - partly to give me something other than corona virus enforced home-schooling to think about, and partly to supplement my income, whilst my day job as a childminder was affected by lockdown.

In the first few weeks I completed 11 bears and 1 rabbit and have since created many more keepsakes for people to treasure.
