As a registered childminder I am required to have the following qualifications:

• Level 3 in Understanding How to Set up a Home Based Childcare Service

• Paediatric First Aid  (renewed every three years)

• Level 2 Award in Safeguarding Awareness (Wales) (renewed every three years)

• Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety (renewed every two years)

• Introduction to Safeguarding Level 3

• Managing Safeguarding Level 4

• Understanding and working to the Foundation Phase in Wales
