Tracy L Cooper

I have known since I was in primary school that I wanted to work with children, so I took Childcare GCSE in secondary school and then gained my BTEC National Diploma in Nursery Nursing at college.

After leaving college in June 1996, I started my first live-in nanny position in October of the same year. I worked as a live-in nanny until July 2002, when I got married and moved from South Yorkshire to South Wales.

After moving to Newport, South Wales, I continued working as a nanny but I took live-out positions. In June 2004 I started working for a lovely family in the Monmouthshire countryside and stayed with them for more than 9 years - during which time I had two children of my own.

In late 2012, when I was pregnant with my second child, it became obvious that it was finally time to move on from this family (now that the children were 12 and 15) and I made the big decision to start the ball rolling towards becoming a childminder.

The name TLC Childminding is taken from the rather appropriate initials of my name.

I became CSSIW registered in February 2014.

Please contact me if you would like to find out more, or enquire about a place for your child(ren).
